Position: Remote Data Analyst

Location: Remote – Southeast U.S.


About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Digital Industries (DI) team. In this position, you will support our Factory Automation (FA), Motion Control (MC), and Process Automation (PA) divisions by managing critical price and product master data. Your work will directly influence operational accuracy and digital transformation across our business.


Your Impact

As a key member of the data services team, you will:

  • Provide accurate and high-quality master data management services to support multiple Siemens DI business units.

  • Maintain and improve Microsoft Access-based applications used for local product data creation.

  • Contribute to the development of new-generation tools for managing product master data.

  • Collaborate across departments to fulfill data requests while maintaining integrity in systems such as SAP.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to manage list and net pricing structures.

  • Analyze order management data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.

  • Help drive operational efficiency by improving data quality and accessibility across growing datasets.

  • Partner with international teams to support global data consistency and analytics initiatives.


What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or database management

  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools, database reporting, and analytics

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, and VBA (especially for Access and Outlook)

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Siemens platforms or systems

  • Familiarity with B2B pricing models (list and net pricing)

  • Understanding of product master data and its role in order processing and reporting workflows
