Your Role: Data Scientist
In this role, you will analyze extensive data collected from our IoT and telematics devices to generate actionable insights, improve product functionality, and elevate the customer experience. Working closely with teams across engineering, product management, analytics, and support, you will play a key role in developing predictive algorithms, creating dashboards, and enhancing features that drive Aperia’s data-centric offerings.
This position is fully remote.
What You’ll Do

Develop and fine-tune predictive models and anomaly detection techniques to improve product reliability and user adoption

Analyze reported problems by tracing root causes through data, and suggest preventative enhancements

Integrate and automate data pipelines by managing diverse data sources using contemporary BI tools and frameworks

Process and interpret large sets of both structured and unstructured data

Identify significant patterns, trends, and relationships and communicate these findings through clear visualizations and reports

Present insights effectively to stakeholders across engineering, product, customer support, and sales teams

Collaborate with engineering and product groups to improve data integration and support new feature rollouts

Offer data-driven recommendations that tackle business challenges and aid strategic planning
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree in Data Science or a quantitative area preferred)

2 to 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst

Strong skills in SQL and Python; familiarity with R, MATLAB, or C is a bonus
-
Experience working with data mining, BI tools, and modern data infrastructure
-
A solid understanding of statistics, applied math, and algebra
-
Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities combined with business insight

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Competitive base salary range: $120,000 – $135,000
