Data Analyst at Meta – Remote

Meta is hiring a seasoned Market Research Analyst to join its Infrastructure team, focusing on the evolving landscape of data centers, AI, networking, silicon, and hardware technologies. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for gathering and synthesizing real-time intelligence on industry movements and strategic shifts among peer companies and cloud providers. Your work will influence internal strategy and help senior stakeholders stay ahead of key trends shaping the global infrastructure space.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create in-depth, recurring reports that analyze the infrastructure investments and strategies of major industry players.

  • Perform both primary and secondary research to stay current with market trends, breaking news, and relevant data center and AI developments.

  • Build and update interactive dashboards that monitor live data on AI innovations and global data center expansions.

  • Deliver executive-level briefings highlighting emerging trends in hyperscale infrastructure—including hardware, software, and network technology.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate raw data into actionable insights and contextual market narratives.

  • Track and analyze announcements of new data center projects, infrastructure build-outs, and competitive movements within the cloud and AI ecosystems.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in market analysis, strategic research, or a similar field.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills, with a proven ability to develop insights from large data sets.

  • Experience using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Python, or R for data modeling and analysis.

  • Clear, concise communication and presentation capabilities, tailored for executive-level stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working independently while seeking input and feedback when necessary.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep familiarity with sectors like data centers, cloud computing, networking infrastructure, semiconductors, or AI technologies.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Experience in econometric modeling or advanced forecasting methodologies.

  • Knowledge of premium market research tools and business intelligence platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $152,000–$221,000 (exact figure based on location, experience, and qualifications)
