Data Analyst at Comfort Medical, LLC – Remote
As a Data Analyst within our Operational Excellence team, you’ll play a crucial role in empowering business units through actionable insights and intelligent reporting. You’ll be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making, helping to optimize performance metrics such as team productivity, fulfillment accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining key reports, managing and optimizing ETL pipelines, and collaborating across teams to support strategic business goals. This position requires a deep understanding of data analysis processes including data cleansing, exploration, transformation, and visualization, alongside a strong sense of business acumen.
You’ll work cross-functionally across Development, Process Improvement, and Application teams to help identify trends, uncover opportunities for improvement, and drive better outcomes through data.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines to support accurate and timely data extraction from diverse systems.

Deliver data insights and reporting tools that drive operational improvements and decision-making across the business.

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and apps using tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

Conduct routine data validations and audits to uphold high data quality and reliability standards.

Define and manage marketing campaign segmentation using CRM platforms and other business systems.

Analyze the performance and ROI of marketing initiatives, including product rollouts and automated engagement campaigns.

Support strategic projects through ad hoc data requests and deep-dive analyses.

Evaluate and refine existing processes to enhance operational scalability and efficiency.

Research and propose new data tools or methods to increase the team’s analytical capabilities.

Provide backup coverage for analytics functions across departments when needed.

Maintain full compliance with healthcare data regulations, including HIPAA, ensuring security and privacy of sensitive information.

Uphold company standards by adhering to professional, legal, and ethical guidelines, including the Advamed Code of Ethics.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience in a data analytics or reporting role, preferably in the healthcare, DME, or medical device industries.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Capable of translating complex business needs into clear, actionable analytical outputs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments.
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of relational databases and SQL-based query languages, particularly T-SQL.

Hands-on experience with Power BI and other data visualization platforms.

Proficiency in developing and managing ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Power Query, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies; experience with tools like Azure DevOps is a plus.
