What You’ll Do

• Combine clinical, claims, financial, and other data sources to construct predictive models that support progressive care strategies.

• Apply advanced data science methods, including AI, deep learning, machine learning, and statistical techniques to solve healthcare and business issues.

• Develop risk assessment models and care frameworks that translate complex data into practical insights for healthcare innovation.

• Work closely with teams of statisticians, clinicians, and software engineers to design scalable, technology-driven solutions.

• Champion data-informed decision-making by explaining the rationale and methods behind analytical results to stakeholders.

• Communicate research outcomes and recommendations to clinical teams, executives, and at professional conferences.

• Create dynamic, interpretable, and scalable models that can be embedded into analytics products for ongoing use.

• Lead initiatives to standardize data science workflows, tools, and methodologies.

• Mentor and collaborate with other data scientists to foster professional growth and project success.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, physics, or related quantitative field with at least 5 years of experience; OR a Master’s/PhD in a quantitative discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, simulation, and optimization applied to large datasets.

• Skilled at integrating and transforming various datasets to engineer new, meaningful features.

• Proficient in R and Python for healthcare data analysis, visualization, and building data pipelines supporting AI/ML models.

• Experienced in developing and deploying scalable, interpretable, and repeatable predictive models.

• Strong collaborator, able to partner with business and clinical stakeholders to design innovative solutions.

• Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting complex findings to leadership, clinical teams, and at industry events.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.

• Knowledge of machine learning model deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement.

• Awareness of data bias issues and a critical approach to data quality and validity.
