HR Coordinator – United States – Remote

At Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, we are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and skilled individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This fully remote position focuses on providing key administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our human resources (HR) department.


Position Overview

As the first point of contact for the HR department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support to our team and employees. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the HR field. Your responsibilities will include record-keeping, maintaining employee files, managing the HR inbox, and supporting various HR processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Respond to employee requests and inquiries with outstanding service and professionalism.
  • HR Inbox Management: Monitor and respond to HR-related emails daily, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Clerical Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR department as needed.
  • Performance Reviews: Assist in organizing and preparing for the performance review process.
  • Benefits Enrollment: Support the annual Open Enrollment process and assist the Benefits Manager with benefit enrollments and employee inquiries.
  • New Hire Orientation: Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • HRIS Maintenance: Provide support to the HRIS Manager by maintaining accurate employee records, running reports, and conducting system audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Document Management: File and maintain employee records, organize shared drives, and ensure compliance with document storage policies.
  • Employee Audits: Assist with department and employee audits as needed.
  • Workvivo Board Updates: Maintain and update the Liberty HR board in Workvivo.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and manage logistics for company events, meetings, and employee engagement activities, including booking venues, arranging travel, and preparing materials.
  • Compliance: Stay informed about changes in federal and local employment laws and assist in ensuring compliance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare correspondence, process mail, and perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant HR experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage time effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Experience with HRIS systems; familiarity with Paycom is a plus.
    • Proficiency with DocuSign is a plus.
    • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Strong collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
    • Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
