Position: Data Scientist

We are looking for a talented and forward-thinking Data Scientist to join our expanding team. This role focuses on designing advanced AI and Generative AI models that support key business functions such as Marketing, Finance, and MP&A. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical skillset, a collaborative approach, and a passion for turning data into meaningful insights that propel business growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Drive AI and Generative AI model development strategies tailored to address diverse business challenges.

  • Collaborate closely with brand partners to identify their needs and deliver data-driven solutions.

  • Prepare and process data by extracting, cleaning, and transforming datasets to enable effective predictive modeling.

  • Develop, automate, and deploy production-ready predictive model pipelines.

  • Craft sophisticated Python and SQL queries to support analytics initiatives.

  • Lead full-cycle projects—from spotting opportunities and building proofs of concept to implementing automated model solutions.

  • Work alongside stakeholders to integrate data science findings into actionable business strategies.

  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.

  • Conduct rigorous statistical tests including hypothesis testing and sample size calculations.

  • Keep current with emerging trends, new methodologies, and industry best practices in data science.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in analytics and modeling using Python, R, or SAS within a fast-paced setting.

  • Deep understanding of pattern recognition, clustering, statistical methods, and predictive modeling.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL query writing.

  • Experience with AI and machine learning techniques.

  • Practical knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.

  • Skilled in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

  • Proven track record managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • Background in retail, consumer packaged goods, or customer marketing analytics.

  • Familiarity with Generative AI applications.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field required.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
