Position Overview: Data Scientist

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our growing team. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge AI and Generative AI modeling methodologies to support critical business areas, including Marketing, Finance, and MP&A. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business success.

What You’ll Do

• Act as a data science strategist to create and expand AI and Generative AI models and methodologies for business use cases.
• Collaborate with brand partners to understand needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Extract, clean, and transform data to prepare it for predictive modeling.
• Build and deploy automated, production-grade predictive model pipelines.
• Write advanced Python and SQL queries to support data-driven initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end projects, from identifying business opportunities to developing proofs of concept and creating automated modeling pipelines.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement data science results into business strategies.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to various teams across the organization.
• Conduct hypothesis testing, sample size calculations, and other statistical analyses.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, business strategies, and emerging data science methodologies.

Qualifications

Required:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in modeling and analytics using Python, R, or SAS in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Advanced expertise in pattern recognition, clustering, statistics, and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
• Data visualization experience using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects.

Preferred:

• Retail, consumer packaged goods, or customer marketing experience.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and its applications.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
