Data Analyst at Meta – Remote

As a Data Analyst in People Analytics at Meta, you will play a key role in shaping workforce and business decisions by equipping HR and leadership teams with data-driven insights. Your work will directly influence people strategies through deep analytics, scalable dashboards, and executive-level presentations. You’ll collaborate with partners across People Analytics and other cross-functional teams to design impactful, research-backed solutions for the future of work at Meta.

This role is ideal for someone who excels in problem-solving, enjoys building analytical tools from the ground up, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your data expertise to uncover insights that guide strategic decisions and craft compelling executive presentations.

  • Serve as an internal advisor to HR and business stakeholders, helping drive scalable, data-backed solutions.

  • Define success metrics for people-related initiatives and develop strategies to track and assess impact.

  • Manage several high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Present complex findings in a clear and compelling way to senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Use tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Excel to perform advanced analyses, build models, and create visualizations.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive workforce data.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Organizational Psychology, or a similar field, with 5+ years of professional experience in analytics, consulting, finance, operations, or related disciplines.

    • Alternatively, MBA/MS with 4+ years or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience analyzing data and conducting both qualitative and quantitative research.

  • A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with SQL for complex data queries and modeling.

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects across teams and functions.

  • Proven track record of partnering with executive stakeholders and building strong relationships.

  • Proficiency in Tableau and Excel, including advanced visualizations, pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.

  • Experience in communicating data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through storytelling.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in working with HR data such as attrition, recruitment metrics, and workforce analytics.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

  • 2+ years of advanced Tableau dashboard creation, including features like data blending.

  • 5+ years of SQL experience and demonstrated ability to automate data pipelines.

  • 3+ years of experience using Python or R to build scalable analytical tools.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $124,000 – $176,000 annually

  • Additional: Bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits package

  • Final compensation will depend on your skills, experience, and location.
