Data Analyst II at Fanatics – United States – Remote

We’re looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst II to join our rapidly growing Data team at Fanatics Betting & Gaming. In this role, you will be instrumental in launching and shaping our Risk & Governance Analytics function, working under the guidance of our Senior Manager of Financial Analytics. Your primary mission will be to deliver actionable insights that fuel business performance, with a strong focus on supporting our Finance, Accounting, and Tax teams.

This role requires someone who is both data-driven and business-savvy — ready to build scalable reporting solutions, collaborate across departments, and support key strategic decisions with data.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop a deep understanding of our betting and gaming platforms, products, and internal operations.

• Partner with cross-functional teams across Finance, Tax, and Data to uncover analytical opportunities and build robust stakeholder relationships.

• Create and define KPI frameworks, insightful metrics, and automated reporting to support performance tracking.

• Act as a strategic partner to teams across Product, Marketing, Acquisition, and CRM, offering data-driven insights to drive both Sportsbook and Casino growth.

• Work collaboratively with other analysts and data scientists to tackle complex business challenges and co-develop analytical solutions.

• Deliver clear, digestible reporting and storytelling to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor over time.

• Stay informed on the latest trends in data analytics, sports betting, and gaming to bring innovative thinking to your work.

• Occasionally travel to company offices or industry events for in-person collaboration and team building.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong data analysis capabilities — you know how to extract and manipulate data, build structured dashboards, and surface insights that matter.

• Proven ability to build trust with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and translate complex analysis into actionable outcomes.

• Experience using visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.

• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a customer-first, results-driven mindset.

• Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience building automated reports or dashboards in Tableau.

• Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented attitude and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

• Willingness to take on new challenges with flexibility, curiosity, and a positive outlook.

• Bonus points for experience in sports betting, gaming, financial services, or working within SOX/internal control frameworks — but these aren’t required.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $112,000 to $168,000, dependent on your skills, background, and experience. In addition, you’ll be eligible for:
