Data Analyst (Remote) GovCIO
GovCIO is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to assist with a federal project focused on improving readiness and employment systems. In this remote role, you’ll develop data solutions and insights that support system training efforts, ensuring data is accurate, structured, and optimized for use by training teams.
Your Role at a Glance

Collect, clean, convert, and structure data used to create training materials and enhance understanding of the Readiness & Employment System (RES).

Interpret complex datasets to align with functional and business logic specific to RES requirements.

Collaborate on data pipelines and architecture to improve how information flows into structured formats like warehouses or data marts.

Validate newly transformed data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and usability.

Investigate irregularities in source data and recommend solutions in coordination with technical and business teams.

Build and share visualizations or ad hoc reports that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years of professional experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

Must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance.

2 to 5 years supporting educational systems, instructional data, or training content from a data perspective.
Preferred Attributes
-
Detail-oriented and methodical in reviewing large datasets.

Confident working autonomously with minimal oversight.

Prior experience succeeding in a virtual/remote work setup.

Competence with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Teams.

Experience working with federal government systems or training support preferred but not required.
