Data Analyst (Remote) TalentAlly

What You’ll Do
As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in uncovering insights through data exploration and analysis. You’ll transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence that helps guide our business decisions and improve services for our members.
Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:

Exploring and analyzing data across various platforms using SQL and Python

Partnering with stakeholders to gather and refine business and technical requirements

Creating documentation and maintaining high standards for methodologies and deliverables
-
Interpreting operational and analytical data to uncover trends and improvement areas
-
Acting as a subject matter expert to resolve data-related inquiries and challenges
-
Developing and validating dashboards, reports, and data assets that inform decision-making
-
Presenting analytical findings in clear, actionable terms for business units
What You Bring
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline
-
OR an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Experience:
-
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis or an equivalent analytical role
Technical Skills:
-
Advanced proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, SQL Server, or similar platforms)
-
Experience using Power BI (including Report Builder)
-
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced functions)
-
Familiarity with Python for data transformation and analysis
-
Understanding of Microsoft Fabric tools (e.g., OneLake, dataflows)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with healthcare or health insurance data
-
Background in big data environments or NoSQL technologies
-
Strong data visualization and dashboard design skills
-
Exposure to analytical methods such as trend, cohort, and segmentation analysis

Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and best practices for integrity

Natural curiosity and strong problem-solving abilities
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $73,656 to $146,289
(Actual compensation depends on experience, education, location, and internal equity)
