As a Data Analyst at Stripe, you’ll play a central role in shaping how decisions are made through data. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Enable data-driven decisions: Collaborate with teams across Stripe to extract insights and provide clarity that informs high-level strategies and daily operations.

  • Design robust tools: Build and maintain pipelines, reports, metrics, and dashboards that deliver accurate and timely data for business-critical initiatives.

  • Uncover insights: Apply statistical techniques and data storytelling to drive action across product, marketing, UX, and other domains.

  • Shape our data roadmap: Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and proactively identify areas for efficiency and growth.

  • Lead strategic efforts: Manage multiple data projects, prioritize competing demands, and deliver high-impact outcomes with precision.

What You Should Bring

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2–8+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles

  • Advanced skills in SQL and Python

  • Strong background in statistics and data modeling

  • Proficiency in data visualization and creating compelling narratives with data

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work with diverse stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence through insights

  • Team-oriented mindset with a desire to collaborate across departments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering

  • Background in fast-paced tech, SaaS, or high-growth startup environments

  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks like Hadoop or Spark

  • Understanding of software development practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews

Remote Work at Stripe

This position is fully remote-friendly, excluding applicants located within 35 miles of Stripe offices in Seattle, New York City, or the San Francisco Bay Area. While remote employees are welcome to visit offices for events and meetings, their primary workspace will be from home.

Compensation & Benefits

U.S. Base Salary Range: $121,800 – $220,300
(Salary will be based on factors such as experience, location, and level.)
