Data Analyst – United States – Remote

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Data Analyst to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and Snowflake, along with a strong command of Sigma Computing for building intuitive, impactful dashboards. Prior experience working with healthcare data, including billing and reimbursement workflows, is a strong advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Accuracy & Quality Control
    Monitor data sources and dashboards regularly to ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of all analytics outputs.

  • Data Discovery & Exploration
    Identify and assess high-value datasets that align with current business needs and challenges.

  • Reporting & Analysis
    Respond to internal data requests by generating timely, insightful, and clear reports in partnership with cross-functional teams.

  • Dashboard Design & Delivery
    Develop interactive, visually compelling dashboards using Sigma Computing and other business intelligence tools to support decision-making.

  • Process Optimization
    Streamline and improve the report-building process to accelerate data turnaround and enhance team efficiency.

  • Scalability & Innovation
    Expand analytical capabilities by integrating new data sources and building advanced visualizations that scale with business growth.

  • Data Governance
    Uphold high standards for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all analytics initiatives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Work closely with stakeholders across departments to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.

  • Platform Expertise
    Serve as the in-house expert on Sigma Computing, advising colleagues on functionality, best practices, and insights development.

  • Cost-Conscious Execution
    Leverage available analytics tools in a resource-efficient manner to optimize costs and maximize business impact.

  • Perform other duties and projects as needed.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, database management, and dashboard development.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Familiarity with data governance practices and a strong track record of ensuring data reliability and accuracy.

  • Proven ability to design user-friendly dashboards using Sigma, Tableau, or similar tools.

  • Background in healthcare data analytics and knowledge of billing/reimbursement systems is a strong plus.


Core Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and Snowflake.

  • Deep understanding of data visualization principles and UI/UX design.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a relentless focus on data integrity.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical data to non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

  • Remote Role: Candidates must be based in Texas.
