Role Overview: Data Engineer / Analyst

In this pivotal role, you’ll help design, build, and manage the data infrastructure that underpins our operations and innovation efforts. From developing scalable pipelines to optimizing data architecture, your work will fuel the insights that help us improve outcomes and reduce costs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and map business processes and data flows across enterprise systems

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define data requirements and build fit-for-purpose solutions

  • Develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data infrastructure

  • Create and manage data warehouses, schemas, and ingestion processes

  • Write advanced SQL queries to power dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics

  • Assist in preparing data for predictive models and advanced analytical use cases

  • Monitor and enhance database and query performance to maintain system efficiency

  • Identify and resolve data quality issues; implement improvements and validation processes

  • Work closely with engineering, analytics, and data science teams to streamline workflows

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal data governance policies

  • Document data systems, workflows, and best practices to support ongoing scalability and transparency


What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and 4+ years of relevant experience, including:

    • 3+ years in SQL development, data modeling, and schema design

    • Experience designing and maintaining ETL processes and pipelines

  • Proficiency in:

    • Python or PySpark

    • SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Spark

    • Data validation, governance, and quality control

  • Solid understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • Familiarity with Databricks, SSIS, and Big Data tools (e.g., Hive, Kafka, Impala)

  • Exposure to machine learning, AI workflows, or data science environments

  • Experience delivering scalable, production-level data solutions

  • Ability to interpret business needs and align technical work with organizational goals

  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000
    (Final compensation will be based on experience, skill set, education, and location)
