Your Role
As a Data Scientist, you will harness the vast data streams from our deployed IoT and telematics devices to uncover insights, optimize product performance, and enhance user experience. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, analytics, and support teams, you’ll contribute directly to the development of new algorithms, dashboards, and features that elevate Aperia’s data-powered solutions.
This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and refine predictive models and anomaly detection algorithms to boost product reliability and adoption

Investigate reported issues, identify root causes using data, and recommend proactive improvements

Curate diverse data sources and automate data collection and transformation using modern BI tools and frameworks

Preprocess and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data

Discover meaningful patterns, trends, and correlations, and present findings through visualizations and statistical reports

Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders across engineering, product, customer support, and sales

Partner with engineering and product teams to enhance data integration and support feature development

Propose data-driven solutions to business challenges and support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred in Data Science or a quantitative discipline)

2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst

Proficiency in SQL and Python (experience with R, MATLAB, or C is a plus)

Solid experience with data mining, business intelligence tools, and modern data frameworks
-
Strong foundation in statistics, algebra, and applied mathematics
-
Proven problem-solving skills and business acumen

Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $120,000 – $135,000
