HR Coordinator – United States – Remote
Liberty Company Insurance Brokers is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR Administrative Support Specialist. This fully remote role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic, team-focused environment and is eager to develop their career in human resources.
Position Summary
As the initial point of contact for the HR team, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient department operations. This role demands excellent multitasking skills, keen attention to detail, and a strong desire to grow professionally within the HR field. Your duties will include managing employee records, maintaining files, overseeing the HR inbox, and assisting with various HR activities.
Primary Responsibilities

Employee Support: Address employee questions and requests with professionalism and excellent customer service.

Inbox Coordination: Monitor and manage the HR email inbox daily, directing complex issues to the appropriate team members.

Administrative Assistance: Support the HR department with clerical tasks as needed.

Performance Management: Help organize and prepare documentation for the performance review process.

Benefits Support: Assist during the annual Open Enrollment period and help the Benefits Manager with employee benefit inquiries and enrollments.

Onboarding: Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.

HRIS Support: Collaborate with the HRIS Manager to keep employee data current, generate reports, and conduct audits to ensure accuracy.

File Organization: Maintain employee records, organize digital files, and comply with company document retention policies.

Audit Assistance: Support internal department and employee audits as required.

Workvivo Management: Update and maintain the Liberty HR board on the Workvivo platform.

Event Planning: Coordinate logistics for company events, meetings, and employee engagement initiatives, including venue bookings, travel arrangements, and preparation of materials.

Compliance Awareness: Stay updated on federal and local employment regulations and assist with ensuring company compliance.

General Admin: Prepare correspondence, handle mail, and perform other special projects or tasks assigned by HR leadership.
Qualifications
-
At least one year of experience in a relevant HR or administrative role.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience with HRIS platforms is preferred; familiarity with Paycom is a bonus.

Knowledge of DocuSign is an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
