Position: HR Help Desk Specialist (Temporary, Full-Time)

As the first point of contact for all HR-related questions, the HR Help Desk Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering excellent support to employees via phone, chat, and email. You will use HR systems to promptly address concerns and assist the wider HR team with administrative functions to keep operations running smoothly.


Primary Responsibilities

As part of the proactive HR Shared Services team, your duties will include:

  • Acting as the frontline resource for employee HR inquiries, including benefits, payroll, training, policies, labor relations, leave programs, and more.

  • Providing accurate and timely answers while supporting employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, offboarding, FMLA, and life insurance.

  • Evaluating inquiry urgency and escalating complex matters to the next level for resolution.

  • Collaborating with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve HR issues and clearly communicating outcomes to employees.

  • Maintaining and updating the HR Solutions knowledge base to support cross-training and improve team collaboration.

  • Keeping current with CAES HR offerings to maximize first-contact resolution effectiveness.

  • Managing employee information in Oracle HCM, ERP, and timekeeping systems.

  • Processing HR documentation such as leave requests and tuition reimbursement forms.

  • Providing personalized support and guidance for HR platforms like Oracle HCM, iCIMS, and ADP.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in Human Resources.

  • At least 1 year of experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR Shared Services or HR Center of Excellence environment providing Tier 1 support.


Compensation

  • Hourly pay range: $22.00 to $27.00, based on factors such as location, responsibilities, education, and experience.
