About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support our Commercial team, working across fraud, payments, finance, and accounting. In this role, you’ll dig deep into complex datasets, uncover trends, identify opportunities for optimization, and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions across multiple departments.

What You’ll Do

• Reporting & Metrics: Design, build, and manage key dashboards and performance reports for teams including fraud, payments, and finance.

• Data Analysis: Dive into transactional and customer data to uncover insights, explain anomalies, and support decision-making processes.

• Visualization & Communication: Transform complex data into clear, visually engaging dashboards using tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Fraud & Risk Monitoring: Analyze behavior patterns to detect fraud, reduce payment failures, and mitigate operational risk.

• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate the causes of transaction issues and fraud cases to recommend and implement data-driven improvements.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to enhance workflows, optimize fraud detection systems, and drive continuous process enhancements.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within finance, payments, or fraud prevention.

• Advanced SQL expertise, with a proven ability to write efficient, scalable queries.

• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma.

• Experience analyzing transactional datasets and identifying behavior-driven patterns.

• Demonstrated success supporting departments like finance, fraud, or accounting through analytics.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-impact teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialized experience in fraud analysis, payment processing, or risk operations.

• Familiarity with fraud detection methodologies and payment system workflows.

• Personal or professional passion for sports, sports betting, or fantasy gaming.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $135,000 – $160,000 (plus target equity)
