About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, Commercial, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting strategy, fraud prevention, payments, finance, and accounting teams. This position is uniquely positioned to influence critical business decisions, improve operations, and tackle diverse challenges across multiple departments. Your work will directly impact our operations, shaping strategies and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain key reporting and performance metrics for fraud, payments, finance, and accounting teams.
• Analyze customer and business data to identify trends, investigate root causes, and inform strategic decisions.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations to effectively communicate insights and performance trends across departments.
• Monitor transactions and customer behavior to identify fraudulent activity, suspicious patterns, and opportunities to enhance payment processing.
• Conduct root cause analyses on fraud cases and payment failures to improve processes and systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop data-driven strategies that optimize payment workflows, improve fraud detection accuracy, and minimize operational risks.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally in finance, payments, or fraud prevention.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, capable of performing advanced analyses and delivering clear, actionable insights.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma.
• Proven track record of supporting internal stakeholders in areas such as finance, accounting, fraud prevention, or payments.
• Expertise in analyzing transaction-level data and identifying patterns related to fraud or payment performance.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, fostering effective partnerships across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-depth experience with fraud prevention, payment systems, or risk management.
• Familiarity with fraud detection techniques and payment processing workflows.
• A passion for sports or experience in the fantasy sports industry.

Compensation

• Base Salary Range: $135,000 – $160,000 (plus target equity).
• Final salary will be based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
