Position Overview: Performance Marketing Data Analyst

As a key member of our team, you will empower smarter marketing strategies by analyzing and optimizing campaign performance. Partnering closely with marketing, product, and data teams, you’ll transform complex datasets into actionable insights that fuel growth and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data across multiple marketing channels—including paid search, social media, email, and affiliates—to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Deliver insights that optimize key metrics like ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), and LTV (Lifetime Value).

  • Support marketing mix modeling efforts to quantify each channel’s contribution to conversions and customer growth.

  • Build and refine forecasting models, budgets, and projections using real-time data and performance trends.

  • Conduct deep dives into customer behavior, attribution models, and purchase journeys to uncover opportunities for boosting conversion rates and retention.

  • Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards that provide up-to-date insights to marketing teams and leadership.

  • Design and evaluate A/B tests to optimize creatives, targeting, and bidding strategies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, finance, and data science teams to align insights and strategies.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or similar; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analytics, specifically focused on performance or digital marketing in e-commerce or tech environments.

  • Proficient in SQL and skilled in data visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

  • Solid understanding of statistical techniques, including A/B testing; familiarity with Python or R is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to decode complex data sets and distill clear, actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.


Preferred Experience

  • Background in e-commerce or consumer brands, particularly in customer acquisition and digital marketing analytics.

  • Knowledge of marketing attribution frameworks and customer segmentation strategies.

  • Experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM) and media planning concepts.

  • Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Analytics.
