About the Role: Technology Specialist – Data Visualization

In this role, you will take the lead in crafting compelling, user-friendly data visualizations, dashboards, and analytical reports that empower informed decision-making. You’ll work alongside analytics professionals, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate complex datasets into visual stories that drive action.

In addition to development work, you’ll manage and optimize enterprise visualization platforms (such as Power BI and Tableau) and help shape best practices for tool adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to facilitate user-focused design sessions and rapidly prototype visualization concepts.

  • Work with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to build seamless solutions that connect advanced analytics with intuitive visual outputs.

  • Guide and mentor junior team members by sharing best practices and supporting their professional development.

  • Design scalable, performance-optimized dashboards and reports that support high-impact business initiatives.

  • Lead cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.

  • Deliver clear communication on project progress, risks, and milestones while advocating for the Visualization Team’s goals and priorities.

  • Define and promote standards for data visualization development, governance, and design consistency across the enterprise.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (7+ years in a related role may be considered in place of a degree).

  • Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in data visualization, analytics, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles, UX design, and business intelligence tools.

  • Experience in healthcare analytics or related sectors is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with healthcare domains such as Coordination of Benefits, Data Mining, or Itemized Bill Review is a plus.


Compensation and Benefits

We offer compensation that reflects industry standards and recognizes the skills, experience, and value each team member brings to our organization.

  • Annual Salary Range: $84,000.00 – $152,200.00
    (Salary placement depends on experience, certifications, and role-specific skills.)
