Position Overview: Senior Data Analyst
We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join our expanding Data Analytics team. In this role, you’ll turn complex data into actionable insights that support major business decisions. You’ll collaborate with departments like marketing, finance, sales, and product to deliver meaningful analysis and dependable data.
Your efforts will help promote a data-driven culture across InStride, enabling teams to monitor key metrics through easy-to-use dashboards and make more informed decisions company-wide.
Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage platforms such as Databricks to work with a range of data sources; design and manage interactive Tableau dashboards for real-time KPI tracking.

Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their objectives and deliver relevant insights.

KPI Development: Define and monitor key business metrics; propose new ones that offer strategic value.

Data Quality Assurance: Work with analytics engineers to ensure data models and reports are accurate and trustworthy.

Data Storytelling: Translate complex datasets into visuals and narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for analysis methods, business logic, and dashboards.
About You

5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence

Expert-level skills in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

Strong analytical thinking and understanding of business processes

Comfortable using statistical techniques to extract insights

Demonstrated ability to define and track strategic KPIs

Excellent communication skills, able to convey data insights clearly

Team-oriented, experienced in working with both technical and business teams

Experience in the education or edtech sector is a plus

Compensation

Competitive salary between $105,000–$120,000 USD, based on factors such as location, experience, interview performance, and internal equity.
